Everybody knows what a rubber stamp is. Especially if you've been to a bank in Mexico. Art rubber stamps work on the same principle, but their message is not just Paid or Past Due or Deposit To Account #12345. Their message can be whatever your heart desires. Pictures. Images. Witticisms. Something to impart a subtle message (a screaming face tearing at its hair) or to provide gentle decoration (flowers, moons, stars).

You can order stamps in the Comments field of the Catalog Order Form. Be sure to include both name and catalogue number to avoid dyslexic errors when ordering. You'll get a free catalog when ordering stamps. Wowza!
Spring 1997.....YES! Pigs Can Fly was acquired by The Rubber Poet of Rockville, Utah. Well, maybe acquired isn't exactly the right word. Cave Newt (the sole proprietor and worker-bee of Pigs) had a baby around Ground Hog Day 1997 and found it was impossible to keep up with all the work, so she twisted the Rubber Poet's arm to adopt Pigs (she knew the Poet folks would take proper care of Pigs.)
So you have two companies' worth of stamps on one web page. The mailing address and phone/fax numbers have been changed to protect the innocent, but the web page will stay right here.
There have been some small changes regarding CATALOGUES. We no longer mail paper catalogues or flyers with grab bags (see Order Form). We no longer accept NEW wholesale orders from retailers out there--previous accounts should see information in the next section

The Ruber Poet & Pigs and Poets paper catalogues are now on line and no longer available by mail. It may take a few weeks to get all of the missing odds and ends online, but it will happen. Rest assured that Rubber Poet designs are displayed at actual size.
A popular introduction to Rubber Poet designs and quality is to order a Grab Bag: It consists of 1/2 pound of unmounted rubber dies ("unmounted" is explained below) for $18.50. These are not blems or duds. The quality of the Rubber Poet Grab Bags sets the standard for the industry! Add another $3.50 to get a 9x12 piece of superstick cushion sent priority mail. Such a deal! There's an online Order Form (please read about security) so you can order stamps, cushion, handles or Grab Bags, using your Visa or MasterCard. Of course you can order by snail mail, phone, or toll-free fax if you prefer. We ship stamps all over the world. Everybody's welcome. Our address is: THE RUBBER POET, P.O. BOX 630218, ROCKVILLE, UTAH 84763-0218
We are no longer soliciting wholesale accounts. We do not sell foam backing, acrylic handles or unmounted dies wholesale. Past active wholesale accounts should feel free to contact us for further information. (rubrpoet@infowest.com; (Rubber Poet, PO Box 630218, Rockville, Utah 84763-0218); PHONE & FAX (800) 906-POET. Flying Messenger Pigs are fine, too, but we will not guarantee return of your pig if it gets lost on the way back to you. Also, if your pig catches cold en route, it cannot accurately relay messages while sneezing.
We also welcome out-of-continental-US inquiries, and accept M/C or Visa in US dollars. Our foreign phone & fax number is (435) 772-3441. We ship using air mail. We only speak Utah English, so, hey, we hope that you can understand us! Say what?
Here is the Rubber Poet official Angel Policy for those craftspeople desiring to use our stamps: Pigs and Poets encourage the creative use of our designs for hand-crafted projects. As long as the items for sale use our hand-stamped designs and are not mechanically or electronically reproduced. In short, hey, it's OK by us as long as no computer or xerox machine is involved in mass duplication!
